Beginning a New Chapter

I’m short on time, so I will get straight to it.

 

After lots of prayer, on our part, AIMS, and Helping Hands, God is calling our team to a new location.  We are moving on Saturday to Kisumu, Kenya.  We will be staying with a host who has been working with AIM for years, his name is Paul.  The details are few at the moment.  I know medical missions, orphanage work, and bush churches are definitely on the horizon.  I will update more as I learn more.  I know that God put Kenya on my heart years ago and that I would be working there someday… I just didn’t know it would be so soon!  His timing is so divine, and we are putting our trust in Him completely.

 

We are so excited for this new chapter in our journey with the Lord, but we are going to miss Busia.  God has used people here in huge ways in my walk with Him, and saying goodbye hurts.  But where God calls, we follow.

 

I want to ensure everyone that we are leaving on wonderful terms with Helping Hands and still support their mission here.   It is not due to them that we are moving.  God has just closed this door and opened another.  He called us to be His disciples, to pick up our cross and follow Him, and follow Him we are. 

 

Please pray for our team, for unity and that this move will go smoothly.  Pray for our future hosts and our relations with them.  Pray for the work we will be doing, that we be Spirit led, not self led.  Pray for Helping Hands, Pastor Moses, and Busia.  God is doing big things here.  Just lift up prayers in general, we always need them.  Know that I love you all and will update when i have more info.
